Our fit-outs are built using the same products you already know and love, from our plants, timber, vines, hides and everything else your animal needs. The difference is in how we use them.
With years of experience designing and building reptile enclosures, every element is deliberately positioned to create a setup that looks exceptional while remaining functional for the animal living in it.
Nothing is randomly placed. Every branch, plant and vine has a purpose.
No two builds are the same. Our timber and plant selection is constantly changing, meaning every enclosure is individually designed around the products available at the time of your build. The photos throughout this page are examples of previous builds but your enclosure will be unique to you and your animal.
You choose the enclosure, colour and theme. We handle the fit-out.
No labour charges. No additional assembly fees. Just the cost of the products used in your build.
A 50% deposit secures your build, with the remaining balance due once completed.
WHAT'S INCLUDED.
Every Royal Reptiles fit-out is built as a complete setup, with every element selected to suit the species, enclosure and theme. Every build includes heating and a thermostat, with multiple heating and lighting options available to suit different reptiles, including dimmable daylight and UVB lighting. Each enclosure is finished with a background, with a range of colours available to complement your chosen theme.
Our timber is thoroughly cleaned and treated before being used, with branches and hollow logs selected specifically for the animal and individual build. We have a huge range of artificial plants and vines, with each piece hand-picked and positioned to create a cohesive, functional setup rather than simply filling the space. Multiple substrate options are also available to suit different species and requirements, and every enclosure is finished with a secure lock.
Everything is selected to suit the animal, not just the aesthetic.
ARID/DESERT
Designed to recreate the look and feel of an arid desert environment, this theme combines sandstone tones, lighter timber, grassy plants and muted natural colours to create a warm, earthy setup.
Suitable for a range of arid species, from snakes to Bearded Dragons and Monitors, with the substrate and individual elements selected to suit the animal being housed.
The result is a naturalistic desert-inspired enclosure with carefully positioned timber, plants and features creating depth, structure and usable space throughout the build.
JUNGLE/TROPICAL
For those who want their enclosure to stand out.
Our Pop of Colour theme makes the most of our extensive range of bright plants and flowers, bringing colour and personality into the enclosure while still keeping the overall setup cohesive.
From lemon trees and bright red bottlebrush to pink gumnut bushes, the combinations are endless. Each build uses a mix of vibrant foliage and feature plants, carefully selected and positioned to bring the enclosure to life.
No two builds will look the same, the colours and plant combinations will vary depending on our current selection, making each one completely unique.
JUNGLE/TROPICAL
Designed to create a lush, tropical environment with a strong contrast between deep, dark tones and vibrant green foliage.
Darker timber and a black background provide the foundation, allowing the bright greenery to stand out throughout the enclosure. Vines are a key part of these builds, adding another layer of depth and helping tie the timber and foliage together.
Our SkyHide is also a popular addition to this style of fit-out, particularly for the semi-arboreal python species that benefit from elevated spaces and additional opportunities to climb and perch.
The result is a dense, naturalistic setup with plenty of greenery, texture and structure, carefully arranged to create a striking tropical environment for your reptile.
